At time of writing, the Kanto ORA 100W Powered Reference Desktop Computer Speakers do not use typical speaker wire to connect the left and right speakers. Instead, they use a 4-PIN cable that I think is called a DIN 4-PIN speaker cable. The length of the 4-PIN speaker cable included in the box is 6.56 ft (78.72 inches). My desk is 79 inches wide, which is too wide to place both speakers at each end of the desk and properly cable manage the speaker wire, so I needed a longer length.
Google searching for “Kanto Ora replacement longer speaker cable” returns a couple of Reddit posts with links to replacement cables from Edifier or a random Amazon storefront. Find those links in the following Reddit posts:
From those Reddit posts it seems the specific speaker cable I needed is a longer version of a 4 Pin Speaker Cable for D-bt Edifier R1700BT R1600TIII Swans D1010.
The random Amazon storefront mentioned in the Reddit posts does not appear operational any more and the Edifier store is Canada-only, but I eventually found the Wood Thrush Store Amazon storefront that offers 5 different speaker cable lengths.
I ordered the 9.84 ft length 4-Pin speaker cable compatible with HiVi-Swan D100 & Edifier R1700BT/R1850DB, which was just the right length to place both speakers at each end of the desk and run the speaker cable through the Kanto SP9 Rising Desktop Speaker Stands.
